"Nikki" is also a half sister to our very own *Spellbinda Lady Luck AZ ET - Excellent Merit

After only 8 weeks arriving and having been absent from the show ring since she was 7.5 months old, Nikki is became Breed Survey Class One and went on to win INTERMEDIATE in SHOW the next day under Mrs J. Yuen (Vic)

Nikki returned to Victoria on the weekend of the 4th & 5th November and was placed on the pegs both days at the GSDCV and WDCV Championship Shows.

At the GSDCV Inc. Championship Show under German judge Herr Gunther Mueller (SV) made the following comments about Nikki.  Nikki was placed 2nd Intermediate Bitch & graded Very Good.

"The first two bitches are in a class of their own"

"This bitch would have been placed first if she had moved in the way in which her forequarter indicated"

"Her gaiting was expansive"

At the WDCV Inc. Championship Show, judge Mrs. Jenny Yuen commented,

"This is a bitch of extremely good quality"

At the Tasmanian Kennel Club Championship, group judge Mrs. Glenda Cook commented

"She has a lovely gait"

Nikki's first litter are on the ground and are being exhibited in the Confirmation and herding arenas.

At the 2008 GSDCT Inc. State Breed Assessment Nikki was awarded the title of 2008 Tasmanian Siegerin and her progeny were placed Best Puppy Dog and Best Puppy Bitch respectively.   Assessor Mrs Joylene Neddermeyer NBC Chairperson made the following comments about Nikki:

NIKKI IS NOW A MULTI BEST IN SPECIALTY SHOW WINNER.

58cm, Just above medium size, medium strong well proportioned typey bitch with a very expressive head.  Good eye colour, standing correctly in front.  Very good fore and underchest development.  Correct neck, high withers, firm back, the croup should be longer and is set slightly steep.  Very good angulations of the forehand with a good lay of shoulder blade, the quite well laid upper arm could be just slightly longer, praise worthy balance of upper to lower thigh, very good breadth of thigh.  She shows energetic far reaching movement with very good forehand reach, powerful hindquarter thrust retaining a good wither line.  EXCELLENT

4 Years.   58 CM desired medium size, medium strong, very well proportioned bitch of very good type and balanced construction.  Black and gold saddle markings, good head and expression, complimented by good eye colour.  Normal length of neck, well placed withers, straight back, slightly short, slightly steep croup.  Good fore and underchest development, correct in front, very good forequarter angulations where the upper arm could be longer and better laid.  Very good hindquarter angulations moves slightly wide behind and in front.  Both the hocks and elbows should be firmer, very good ground covering movement with balanced and effective reach and drive. EXCELLENT

SIEGERIN.  4.5 years.  58.5cm  A bitch of absolutely correct size, medium strong, harmoniously constructed bitch of overall very good type.  Good withers, firm back, and well moulded croup, which could be just a fraction longer.  Long upper arm, which could still be a fraction better angled.  Very good hindquarter angulation.  Stands correct in front, with very good fore and under chest development, very good breadth of thigh.  Strong feminine head with very good expression, ideally I would like to see the marking on her skull a little more pronounced, good ear carriage.  As a daughter of Stobar Peete and Bronacre Ramoth, she has a very well constructed pedigree and is typical of her parentage, steps slightly wide at rear, correct in front with good firmness of elbows.  Presented in absolute firm and dry condition. Progeny were exhibited in Puppy dog and Puppy bitch classes at this show.  During movement shows a very good ground covering gait transmitted through a firm back.  Her movement is maintained at both a tight lead and loose lead gaiting performance.  When selecting a future breeding partner, select a male of similar quality and type to compliment her very good overall construction.  Due consideration should be given to males displaying the desired marking on both the skull and foreface of strongly coloured and pigmented lines.  Congratulations on being awarded the Tasmanian State Siegerin Title.  EXCELLENT MERIT.

Black and gold bitch, very pleasing type, medium size, medium strong, feminine, expressive with complimentary eye colour.  Well set neck, good length, high withers, firm back, croup is of a good lay but should be slightly longer,  presented in change of coat, very good angled fore and hindquarter, well proportioned, a bitch that is well knit, firm and dry, stands correct in front, steps slightly wide with good hock connections, correct coming.  She exhibits a real willingness to perform, she shows a very fleeting, far reaching movement, very good reach and drive, the back remains firm.  VERY GOOD

3 yr.  Just above medium size, medium strong, feminine expressive bitch of very good proportions and type.  Very good head and expression, although the pigmentation at the point of the nose could be a little stronger, the colour should be stronger, particularly the saddle, good masking, very good length of neck, high withers, firm back, well laid but slightly short croup.  Very good fore and hindquarter angulations, very good fore and underchest development, very good length of foreleg, stands correct in front, steps a little wide going but with firm hocks.  Steps correct coming but with slightly loose elbows, during movement despite a somewhat hasty action she never the less covers the ground very well but ideally reach and drive should be freer.  EXCELLENT

3.5 yrs.  Just above medium size, medium strong bitch of very good type and proportions, good head and expression and eye colour.  Should have a little more stop, high wither, firm back and a well laid croup, slightly short, very good fore and hindquarter angulations, again foreleg should be a little longer, very good fore and underchest development, stands correct in front, steps correct coming and going, very good ground covering movement.  EXCELLENT

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Just above correct medium size, medium strong, slightly stretched very feminine bitch of pleasing type, she should be just a little stronger in colour and pigmentation.  Expressive feminine head.  Very good length of neck, high withers, sufficiently firm back, very good length and lay of the croup, strong board thighs, the upper arm should be longer and better angled.   Very good hind angulation.  Stands and steps correctly front and rear, slightly errect pasterns, both hocks and elbows should be firmer, she could have been presented in firmer, leaner condition .  During movement, she shows a far reaching, powerful gait whilst maintaining a very good wither connection.  She was lively and outgoing at the survey and was gunsure.

PARTICULAR VIRTUES & FAULTS:

A quality bitch that mirrors her breeding.   She should be a little stronger coloured and pigmented.  Presented in not quite firm condition, she moves well with a high wither.

Medium size, medium strong, feminine, expressive bitch of very good type presented in just a little too heavy condition. Very good head and expression. Very good length of neck. High withers. Firm back in stance. Good croup. Strong, broad thighs. The upper arm could still be a little longer and more angled. Very good hind angulations. Particularly good fore and under chest development. Just slightly upright in pasterns.  Stands and steps correctly at rear, slightly wide in front. The elbows should be firmer.  Shows a balanced, powerful, expansive ground covering gait. VERY GOOD
